the base plate is a floor flange and you get it at a hardware store. exactly like I said in the video.
What kind of base plate is that and where do I get it.

My camera weighs 1.25lbs. should I go with the smaller design or the larger design?
hold it under the camera. this doesn’t reduce vibrations it reduces jerk cuz of the weight distribution. build one to see for yourself.
